Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 in New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different genres such as period dramas to thrillers to action films. Johansson grew up living in New York City as the daughter an architect and a production company. Hunter and her twin brother, and she were all the smallest of a family of four. As a child she was able to begin performing. At 7 years old, she had already auditioned for commercials in a variety of different ways. After that, she was enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then went to the Professional Children's School in Manhattan for further training in her craft. In the Off Broadway play Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance in North (1994) which was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was later seen in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who run away. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered a horrific accident. Her role in Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. Apart from her role in this show, she's a skilled stage actor. She has delivered astonishing performances in shows like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the arena of entertainment at the age as a child. When she was a kid she was captivated by acting. Smith found her first role as an actor when she was six years old with the help of her parents. She was in an Dannon yogurt commercial. As with many actresses who started out she decided to hone her art in the realm of theatre. She took part in different projects in the USA as she made her debut on stage. She studied at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
